Look at the alphabet books we have in the Media Center. Then pick a topic for your own ABC book. The topic can be something you are studying in another class or a subject you would like to know more about.
You will make an alphabet book on the topic of your choice, using Prezi or PowerPoint. Make use of Word Art and Spell with Flickr.

Each letter of the alphabet should have its own page/slide, 24-26 slides total.
Letter and its connection
3-7 sentences in Normal text that clearly and fully explains the connections
Internal Citations (AKA Parenthetical Citations) in MLA format
at least 15 of the 26(?) letter pages should contain a correlating image with image creditat the bottom.
at least 2 of the 26 letter pages should contain a link to a website to further explain a topic/term/idea
"Works Cited" page (last slide) should have all the sources used in this project listed in alphabetical order in MLA format.
Day 1
Choose your topic
Create your Prezi or PowerPoint. You will embed at the top of your wiki page.
Write down all the words you will use. You must do this first!
Day 2
Begin writing. Cite your sources on the page and at the end of your document. Do not look for pictures until you have finished writing.
Day 3
Use Spell with Flickr
Find your pictures. Try Flickr Creative Commons and other sources we looked at last week. Don't forget to give credit!
